ANTESALA is a commercial gallery and advisory platform with a focus on art and artists from Latin America. We organise our exhibitions and events in collaboration with galleries, artists, estates, collections, publications, and nonprofits across the Americas and beyond.
ANTESALA is based in an industrial mid-century building in the central London neighborhood of Fitzrovia, acquired by founder Flavia Nespatti to be a long-term hub for exhibiting, discussing, and collecting contemporary art.

Flavia Nespatti is an art historian, patron, and collector with a professional background in financial markets. With a patronage focus on living Latin American artists, she has supported exhibitions at the Barbican Centre, Nottingham Contemporary, the De La Warr Pavilion, the Whitechapel Gallery, and Modern Art Oxford, among other UK institutions. She is the chair of the Latin American Patrons Group at the Delfina Foundation and volunteers as a Senior Mentor for the artist support charity Brave Projects.
Prior to founding ANTESALA, Flavia co-founded Anteroom in 2023, a separate nomadic curatorial platform presenting annual exhibitions by emerging UK and Europe-based artists in found spaces across London.
Flavia was born in Brazil, and grew up between Venezuela, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. She was educated in the United States, and she moved to London with her now husband in 1995.
